Shale Traps (Formation Packers)

  • Designed to support a grout column to seal between the casing and the bore hole. Ranging in size from 2"" – 12"" and borehole sizes up to 20"". Shale traps are offered in soft (Standard) or hard (Supreme) rubber and come with a stainless steel clamp for attaching to the well riser.
  • Constructed from neoprene rubber for elasticity and strength.
